Organic products in grocery stores are almost systematically packaged in plastic in order to prevent contamination with other products and to differentiate them from conventional products at the checkout. Fortunately, there are some alternatives such as organic baskets!

Baskets of family farming fruits and vegetables offer organic, local and zero waste baskets!

Moreover, did you know that Peter-McGill eco-district is a drop point of the 3 Samson’s Farm organic baskets?

Each spring, adepts of the 3 Samson’s Farm organic baskets are looking forward for the first delivery.

And they are right! There are so many advantages with these baskets:

  • The baskets are delivered near your house. They directly come from the farm.

  • The products are fresh, diverse and seasonal.

  • The products are without synthetic pesticides. Cultivation without pesticides provides advantages for both the environment and the budget of our farmers!

  • They don’t contribute to overpack.

  • There are less intermediates, so that’s the most economic solution for you and for the farmer.

  • We encourage local economy and support for the local farmers. Also, we discover new vegetables!

  • Baskets of vegetables allow to eat fresh vegetables that haven’t traveled hundred of miles!

How do the baskets of organic vegetables work?

Registration begin early in the season via the farmers’ website. Equiterre’s website allows to find the nearest drop point.

Then, each week (or every 2 weeks as you prefer), you only have to go to Peter-McGill eco-district or in another pickup location to come and get your basket.

It’s as simple as that !
