About us

Montreal has 18 éco-quartiers, located in 15 boroughs. The management of the program is assigned to non-profit organizations anchored in their communities. The éco-quartiers are front-line resources for anyone who wants to develop environmentally responsible habits.

The éco-quartier de Peter-McGill is a Ville-Marie borough program that opened in 1997 and serves the Peter-McGill district, located in the western part of the Ville-Marie borough.

The program is managed by the Société pour l’action, l’éducation et la sensibilisation environnementale de Montréal (SAESEM), a charitable organization that has its roots in the neighbourhood.
