We are seeking a volunteer to greet people at Éco-quartier Peter-McGill.

If you enjoy customer service, discussing environmental issues, educating the public about appropriate waste disposal, greening initiatives and keeping the neighbourhood clean, and if you are comfortable with data entry and Excel, then this is the volunteering opportunity for you!
Time frame: recurring, according to your availability.
Special requirements? A brief training session will be held at Éco quartier.

We are seeking a volunteer to maintain the Jardin Versailles community lots throughout the growing season!

Do you want to eat more fresh vegetables this summer, learn the basics of urban agriculture or simply get involved in your neighbourhood? This is the volunteering opportunity for you! The harvest will be shared between participants and a local food bank!
Time frame: May to September 2019
Commitment expected: 1 or 2 times per week (flexible schedule) for at least 1 month
Tasks: Physical work: watering, weeding, harvesting
Benefits: brief training in horticulture, share of harvest
