Earth Hour is a global movement to promote a greener, cleaner planet.
On Saturday March 30, at 8:30 pm, everyone is urged to turn off their lights so as to see world in a different way.
Join the movement Earth Hour and turn off your lights to show that you want to make a difference for our planet!
If you want to do more, you can:
- Raise the issue with your building’s manager to have the lights turned off from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
- Organize an astronomy evening! Why not take advantage of Earth Hour to go stargazing?
- Have dinner by candlelight.
- Replace your light bulbs. If we all switched from incandescent to DEL or CFL light bulbs, this would cut global electricity consumption for lighting in half!
- Spread the word about your participation. Share your ideas about the future of our planet through social media and at hashtag #earthhour.
