DO YOU SUFFER FROM SEASONAL ALLERGIES?
Then you’ve probably heard of ragweed! This invasive perennial is the primary source of hay fever and spreads at an alarming rate from the beginning of July.
HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT?
Easy to identify, its leaves are serrated and thin, its stem is hairy and can measure between 10 cm and 2 m. A tenacious plant, it manages to take root in poor and arid soils such as curbs, alleys and vacant lots.
HOW TO CONTROL IT?
Pull it out as soon as it appears and throw it in the garbage! To prevent it from appearing in your neighbourhood, you can plant seeds of other greens including clover, buckwheat and grass.
